Manage people in the People directory

The People page is the admin's home base for the whole company: search it, keep contact details current, chase pending invites, and put anyone on a production in a couple of clicks.

  1. Open the People directory

Click People in the sidebar. You land on the full company directory; the stat cards along the top show totals for active members, pending invites, cast, creative team, and stage management. This page is admin-only.

  2. Search and filter

Type in the search box to match a name, email, or role, or narrow the list with the category, production, and status dropdowns. The stat cards double as one-click filters (click Pending invites to see only unaccepted invites), and you can switch between the table and card views with the toggle on the right.

  3. Open someone's profile

Click a person to open their drawer. You get their contact info (email and phone, with a Message button that opens your mail app), pronouns, status, permission tier, member since date, last active time, and a list of every production they are assigned to.

  4. Edit contact details

Click Edit in the drawer to change their first and last name, phone, and pronouns, then hit Save. The drawer confirms with "Profile updated."

  5. Change an organization role

Use the Organization role dropdown in the drawer. The change takes effect immediately across every production. You cannot change your own role, and Proscene will refuse to demote the workspace's only admin until another one exists.

  6. Resend an invite

For anyone still showing Invite pending, click Resend invite in their drawer to send a fresh email. To chase several at once, select their rows with the checkboxes and use Resend invite in the selection bar; only people with pending invites get one.

  7. Assign people to a production

Click Assign in a person's drawer, or select multiple rows and choose Assign to production. Pick the production, the person's role within it, and (for cast) an optional character name. The assignment appears in their drawer and on that production's team immediately.

  8. Deactivate or remove someone

In the drawer, Deactivate marks a person inactive but keeps their profile and history, and you can reactivate them anytime. Remove from org takes them out of your organization. Delete account is permanent and removes their account along with the reports, documents, and notes they created, so Proscene asks you to confirm first.
